G08 is a roof system with a high fire resistance: REI 60 (RF 60 minutes), which has been especially developed for steel constructions. The G08 roof system starts with a traditional type 106.250 corrugated steel sheet. On top of this a special reinforcement system and extremely light concrete are applied. A few days after setting and drying waterproofing can be applied, or, if an improved thermal insulation is required, a vapour seal, the thermal insulation and waterproofing.

 

	A high fire resistance Corrugated steel sheet and a high fire resistance: an impossible combination? No! Thanks to the application of the G08 system a roof with a standard corrugated steel sheet has a REI 60.
A light roof construction A roof with REI 60 always means a heavy construction. For industrial buildings with a light steel structure this greatly affects the dimensioning of the support structure and the foundation. With the G08 system even a light roof construction can obtain a high fire resistance.
